Entering A Race
Entries
Racing with Eureka Cycling Club requires an AusCycling affiliated membership with Eureka Cycling Club or another affiliated club (maximum 2 races per year excluding Opens/Invitationals).
If you do not have a membership (either full or trail membership), you can join by going to the Join Us page and complete the membership details with AusCycling nominating or adding on a membership to have full membership rights.
Entries for club races is usually $12.50 if paid online (or $15 paid on the day). There are 3 ways to enter a race:
Enter and Pay Online - Our preferred method is to entry via the online portal Buncheur.com which you can do by either logging in directly to their web site and searching for the Eureka Cycling Club events and selecting the event you are looking for, or you can click on the Racing Page on our web site and click the event and you should be taken straight to the entry page. Events on Buncheur are usually open a few weeks prior to the event. Buncheur accounts are free of charge to members. The entry portal will remain open until the night before club races and until Friday before an Open. Some open events may be posted to an alternative entry page, so check the calendar if you cannot find the event on Buncheur.com.
Enter via Text Message, Pay on the Day (club races only) - If you cannot open a Buncheur account, you can enter by texting your full name and the event you are entering, (visiting members please provide club information and racing form to the Club Handicapper HERE and pay your entry fee on the day. Entries of this nature must be received by 6pm the day before an event.
Enter on the day and pay on the day (club races only) - This is the least preferred option as it makes the handicapping process difficult and thus we discourage it with an additional surcharge on the entry price, however if you decide to race at the last minute and you turn up with your bike, we’ll find you a spot! The one exception to the surcharge is if you were scheduled to Marshall and your Marshalling position is being fulfilled by someone else at the last minute allowing you to race.
