Doing Our Bit for Cancer Research

The 2023 Ballarat Cycle Classic with be held on the 18th and 19th of February this year and Eureka Cycling Club is doing it’s bit to promote and get behind this worthy fund raising cause.

The organisers are aiming to raise $240,000 plus this year and with Covid effecting past years, every dollar is needed to continue the work of the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Centre located right here in Ballarat. Every dollar of your entry fees goes directly to supporting the FECRC because all costs are covered by the sponsors.

There are 10 different events to choose from to cater for all levels of fitness and experience from the Lake walk/ride for the families, right up to the Spud 100 (160km ride) for endurance riders out there.

Eureka Cycling Club have supported this event each year since it started by encouraging members and guests to participate. There will be no racing that weekend in Ballarat, so there are no excuses.

Most rides are supported with corner marshals, refreshment stations, excellent signage and perfect weather (cough)! You can register by going to the web site here=> https://ballaratcycleclassic.com.au
