On Sunday, 22 October 2023 at 10am, the Eureka Cycling Club held its annual general meeting at the clubrooms at Learmonth.

At this meeting the committee was dissolved and the new committee was elected unopposed. All nine positions on the committee have been filled for the first time since the new constitution was adopted 3 years ago.

Over the course of the last 5 years, the committee have been cognisant of the need to maintain our costs as low as possible, but this has become more and more challenging. It is impossible to maintain the club financially on a base membership fee of $25 per annum…

Sunday 23rd April saw the club run our first New Members and Visitors day and it was a great success! Overall, 23 riders took part with good number of those riders being visitors. The most pleasing part of this was the number of members who came out

Members of Eureka Cycling Club are encouraged to come along to the club and invite a non or past member who is interested to participate in a bunch ride that will simulate what takes place in a racing environment without the pressure or expectation of an actual race. There is no charge and visitors wont need to be a member or even a trial member to participate.

21 Eureka Riders made the trip down the Midland Hwy to Paraparap near Geelong on Sunday for the 1st of the new Team Club Series Races and firstly let’s congratulate Geelong & Surfcoast Cycling Club on hosting a terrific day that had some exciting and enjoyable racing.

The inaugural Club Team Series between Eureka Cycling Club, Geelong & Surf Coast Cycling Club and Northern Cycling Club is shaping up to be an exciting competition.

It takes a team of dedicated individuals who give up their time freely on the Committee to run a safe, smooth and efficient Club to ensure we all enjoy riding, racing and socialising together.
